The program strived to create awareness among the participants about local architectural materials used in specific areas of Punjab. And make climate-responsive outcomes benefitting the village community.
It required to interviewed the villagers, work with local masons and craftswomen, inquire and question the life of villagers versus that of city dwellers. It required working with locally sourced materials to understand the construction method, their processing, and application. Using them, research and collaborating with locals to deliver unique localized design solutions and messages of climate-responsive architecture.
